Since 1946, LMT Onsrud has designed and manufactured precision cutting tools for demanding routing and milling applications. What began as Onsrud Cutter Manufacturing Company has grown into a broad tooling portfolio serving woodworking, plastics, composites, aluminum, aerospace materials, and advanced manufacturing applications.
LMT Onsrud was founded in Libertyville, Illinois, with an initial product offering of high-speed steel router bits, milling cutters, and carbide-tipped tools.
As customer requirements expanded, so did our capabilities. Decades of application experience have helped shape tooling solutions for wood, plastics, composites, aluminum, and advanced materials.
LMT Onsrud manufactures cutting tools for CNC routers, CNC mills, electric routers, and air routers. Our tooling portfolio includes router bits, solid carbide end mills, specialty drills, and application-specific cutting tools.
These solutions support applications ranging from engineered panels, plastics, and composites to aluminum, titanium, and other demanding ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
